Welcome to our world of flowers in Folkestone!
As we are in lockdown again we are trading by phone and the website. You can order and click and collect or order a delivery. Please order by 1pm for same day delivery.
For Valentine’s Day Sunday 14th February we will be open and we will be delivering. Why not click and collect on Saturday so you have the flowers to present personally on Sunday morning!
We are practicing non-contact deliveries so we will not ask for a signature on delivery and will place the bouquet on the doorstep for the recipient to pick up. A phone number for the recipient helps so please include one. If the recipient is not in please let us know if there is a safe place to leave the flowers. We also offer a click and collect service so you can pick up your order from the shop.
This Spring our designs are inspired by the natural world with bright colours of yellows, orange, and green. It is a season full of interesting textures and shapes with pussy willow, blossom and budding branches. There is scent in the air as well as a lot of Spring flowers are scented and we try and incorporate as many of these in our designs as we can.
Our delivery area includes Folkestone Kent, Sandgate, Hawkinge, Elham, Lyminge, Densole, Alkham and surrounding villages. We offer same day delivery but please contact us or place an order online before 1pm for this service. As an Interflora member we can also arrange for deliveries both nationally and Internationally.
8-10 Church Street in Folkestone has been a florist shop for over 100 years. The shop itself is an interesting example of Victorian shop architecture and is set in the heart of the oldest part of Folkestone near the 13th century church of Saint Mary and St Eanswthye. Local legend has it the old garden at the rear of the shop formed part of the convent grounds founded by St Eanswythe in the ninth century.
